Yesterday, I discovered a great baking recipe from one of my most-used e-books on bread baking and immediately went in to the kitchen and have have begun cooking of the final result. And I have worked hard at this one, as I always did, spending a good few hours and after I finally opened my nice oven to see what exactly I've baked only to see something I wasn't expecting. Man, was I not happy. Not only I've found that this thing I made did not look anything like I've seen on the photograph, but it didn't taste nowhere as nice as the recipe said or as I've though I'd get either. I am going to even state that it was a bread from my nightmare.
It's true that bread-baking is absolutely not an easy process and even sometimes can be tedious, but it is all part of having a good time! I like baking, but this time I've failed. The funny thing is that I followed the recipe from start to finish from that baking recipe I read and I amsure had done all right. Many guys fail to make the bread they want for the simple reason that it's a delicate process and gals & guys often get tired and stop often after only a couple unsuccessful tries & this is one of the worst parts, because there are hundreds of great baking recipes to choose from and hundreds of different techniques taught by hundreds of different guys and gals and you are going to get skilled at it all just arrives with experimenting.
So, what makes you a super baking specialist? I'd say knowledge, determination and effort and experience. Some basic knowledge can change bakers experience a lot. E.g. there are methodologies which stop the bread from sticking to your cooking pan this can be fixed with some simple understanding and yet can be very painful if you do not have that knowledge. So, believe it or not, having fantastic baking recipes in your hands is just half of the equation. And, talking of baking recipes, - how confident are you that the recipe you have provides you with the best possible way you can bake? You cannot. This is another issue there are many of baking books that have billions of different recipes in them, and not all of them are good.
One other critical in my opinion and from my experience components which are going to improve the the quality of your bread is cornmeal. You can bake your bread a lot better and tastier only by just adding cornmeal component, and here is how you do it: while you oil your pan, you add the cornmeal component to your pan after you slightly oil it as you usually do. This caused the bread to stick to the cornmeal while you are baking & that is going to make your job a lot easier when separating your bread after it completed baking. That is it! It's as easy as that, but improves the quality of your bread as well as improving average baking experience. This technique is extremely popular and used amongst some of the best chefs and will work with any types of know breads, so use it today and you won't be disappointed!
